Description
So far i have only attempted, and failed to login through the webveiw with my Blackberry running Opera Mini. Just the login process alone on a mobile device is always a hassle, and my Blackberry just hanged. Therefore i think there should be some kind of app for mobile devices something in java might be universal? or at least a mobile interface available through webview.

There's already a MJPEG web service that works (by default) with Safari. The URL is:
http://dvrhostname/webview/index2.php
Does that work for you with Opera?

While we might have a app for the iPhone, Android and Blackberry each would most likely be sold separately. From what I understand it costs money to purchase at least the iPhone developers license and it would involve at least a month in development time we'll need to recoup the money for this extra development. I don't imagine these applications would cost much more then $15-$20 once they are released.

In Zoneminder you can view cameras iphone/itouch and palm with no addons. I would like to see if this is possible to do with Bluecherry-Dvr. Thanks

The iPhone does supports MJPEG streaming. I access our office DVR system using this URL on my iPhone: http://hostname/webview/index2.php. You need to login each time but it works well enough until we have an iPhone application.

We now have http://ideas.bluecherrydvr.com up and running. If possible you might want to post this on that site so customers can vote on it.
Thanks
